Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and by residential versus commercial use, so the coverage that applies to a sauna in a gym is not automatically the coverage printed on the consumer page.

The two other things that decide the project are electrical load (a 6-person cabin can need two separate dedicated circuits, not one) and freight to a business address, which is a different delivery than a residential driveway drop.

This is the part most suppliers gloss over, so here is the plain version.

A residential sauna warranty is written around household duty cycles: a handful of sessions a week, one or two users at a time. A commercial installation changes the duty cycle completely. A studio running six sessions a day is putting a multiple of the hours on the same heating panels and control board.

Manufacturers respond to that in different ways. Some publish a separate commercial warranty. Some shorten the term for commercial use. Some exclude commercial use from the residential warranty entirely. Because it varies by manufacturer and by model, we do not publish a blanket answer, and you should be skeptical of any dealer who gives you one without naming the manufacturer.

Homeowners plug a small infrared cabin into an existing outlet and it works. In a commercial build, the electrical spec drives your electrician's scope and sometimes your panel capacity, so it belongs in the plan on day one. These are the published specs for models facilities commonly ask about:

A "6-person" rating describes how many people physically fit on the benches. For a facility, the number that matters is throughput: sessions per day, and how long the cabin needs between them.

Two practical points when you are sizing for a business rather than a household:

• Two smaller cabins usually beat one large one for scheduling. Two 4-person rooms can run staggered appointments and keep earning while one is being wiped down. A single 6-person room is one bookable slot at a time.
• One large cabin usually wins on square footage and spectacle. If the sauna is an amenity rather than a billable slot, as in a hotel or a member lounge, a single flagship room is the simpler build.

• Dock or liftgate. If your building has a loading dock, the freight line uses it. If it does not, the shipment needs liftgate service, which has to be specified on the booking rather than requested when the truck arrives.
• Appointment scheduling. We coordinate delivery with you, including appointment scheduling where the carrier offers it, so a pallet does not arrive mid-class.
• Lead times are confirmed per model in the quote, not estimated, because a facility opening date is a real deadline.
• Inspect before signing. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, and open all cartons within 48 hours to check for hidden damage. That window is what keeps a freight damage claim valid, and it matters more commercially, since a pallet can sit unopened in a back room past the deadline.
